IT's a Cracker
Here is a Christmas Cracker that I made from the new Tonic Cracker Die. It's really easy to use, a bit of a challenge getting the tabs through and securing them inside, but worth it when done. I think these would make perfect wedding favours/name places. Of course no one would be allowed to pull them, far to pretty for that!!
Christmas Cards - made a start!!
I have started to make my Christmas Cards, so here are a few that I have made from the new Forever Friends Christmas Kraft Notes collection. It's adorable!!
Little One - Baby Girl Album
Hi there, I am back with another Album post. This one was commissioned for a colleague who became a Grannie for the first time earlier this year. I adore the Forever Friends New Arrival papers and so decided to use the double sided stack to create the pages for this Album. The base is from thick cardboard and I have used the "stack the deck" hinge system which is perfect and provides just the right amount of space between the pages for embellishments etc. There are 6 pages, each with a photo mat side the page and on the back of the page within a pocket. Inside the front and back cover I made a cute little envelope which provided a pocket for a postcard message to the new parents (front) and the birth details at the back. I think it turned out really well, hope you like it too?

Simply Gorguss
Another Album, really into these at the moment, I blame Laura from following the Paper Trail and many others who have really beautiful albums posted on Youtube. No not really, when you want more than just cards to make, these are perfect. I'm still learning, no where near at their level..... still I'll keep practicing.
This was made with the help of my Bindit all. The papers were from the Gorjuss range from DoCrafts, which are lovely, if not a little scary!! (no faces).

Large Peg
Another altered art item from me is this large peg. I picked this up from Trago, covered it with Forever Friends Kraft note paper from DoCrafts. Again, I inked the edges slightly and then added lines for stitching in brown pen. These are great for adding to a desk for holding notes or pictures. Hope you like it?
Door Hanger - Happiness often Sneaks through a door!
Hi there, another blog (only my 2nd actually). This is a nice little door hanger that I picked up at Trago Mills in Twowatersfoot, Liskeard, Cornwall. I covered it with Forever Friends Kraft Note papers from DoCrafts 2013, inked the edges to give it distressed look. Rolled up some paper flowers from the waste papers and stamped a Lili of the Valley "words of inspiration". Tied a bit of ribbon and it was done, really pretty!
Lili of the Valley Christmas Recipe Album
Hi there, my name is Ann and this is my very first blog post, so don't be too critical!!
This is an album I made from an idea I had when viewing the Lili of the Valley website and tutorials. I wanted to complete a Recipe album to insert stamped images, coloured with Promarker's and Polychromo pencils, and that would combine the lovely Christmas recipe stamps.
The album itself is made from large kraft coloured envelopes. The idea for the album came from a Youtube video from Laura (Following the Paper trail), really easy but effective. The diecuts are Tattered Lace, Spellbinders and Marianne Designs. Oh, and the papers were from DoCrafts, I think they were last years Christmas "Silent Night". They were perfect, nice and old looking, sorry "vintage".
Hope you like it?
