Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day - so pretty in pink!
I love this card, it's so girly in pink.  The papers are from the gorgeous Bellisima paper pack from Papermania (Docrafts).  There are so many beautiful pastel colours within the pack, lilac, mint, pale blue etc, just lovely.  I used the new die cut range that goes with the range to cut the dress stand from white card.  I did this twice and glued them together to made it more rigid.  I then cut a further 2 more from paper, cut away the stand elements and glued the first dress and did the same with the second, but this time, cut it off at the waist and pleated the skirt before sticking down.  I then added a narrow ribbon to cover the join at the waist and then added self adhesive pearls.  The background paper and die cut mat have both been through the new swirl A4 embossing folder, and then I have lightly gone over the raised impression with the Pearlescent Artiste paints to pull out the detail.  To finish, I then cut some daisy flowers from the paper scraps and added them with a few leaves.  The sentiment was printed off my the computer and then die cut.  Whilst the die was in situ, I took a fine liner pen to the inside of the die, I like the way it all turned out!  Let me know if you do too?

Oyster Blush Fru Fru!!

Mother's Day Special

This card was made last weekend during my demo at The Range in Plymstock, 23/3/2014.  The Oyster Blush Capsule Collection is stunning, with a gorgeous pearlescent sheen to it.  I added a couple of off white feathers and a LOTV sentiment for Mother's day.

Baby Pink

Sugar and Spice and all things nice!!
Beautiful baby girl card I made for a colleague who had her first baby in January.  I have used the gorgeous border dies from Spellbinders, and the perfect papers from the "New Arrival" collection from Forever Friends.  The die is from Marie-Ann Designs and the stamped sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

Madame Payraud from Papermania

Beautiful papers
This was a card I made for my demo in January, I just loved how it turned out.  It was inspired by Sarah Jackman-Reed's card on the Docrafts website, thank you Sarah!.
Hope you like it?

Cute Little Bunny Basket Cards

Cute Bunny Basket Cards
I made these cute little egg baskets for my demo last weekend at Endsleigh Garden & Leisure in Ivybridge.  They are super easy to make, and make perfect gifts for your little bunnies!!

Cut a 5" x  5" card and score each each in by 11/2 " leaving a 2" square in the middle.  Cut to the centre each end to  make a basic box shape, but lift up the slides slightly to make the sides of the basket.  Cust another small strip of card for the handle, your choice of length, and attach to the sides with a brad.

For the bunny card face, you need to use a medium/small heart shape die.  Fold over your cardstock and place the pointy edge of the die just over the fold of the card.  This will ensure that you don't cut two single pieces and they are joined at the top.

Using a 1! punch a 5/8" punch and a very small (sorry don't know the size), but all 3 xcut handheld punches are perfect for this.  Cut 2 x 1" circles for the checks,  Next cut 2 x black card 5/8" for the eyes and add some googlie eyes to the circles, cut another 5/8" of either blue or pin card for the nose and using the smallest punch, cut another circle in blue or pink for the mouth.
For the eyes I used the xcut flowers dies (large) 2 x plain card and 2 smaller petal shapes for the inner ear.

Use a marker pen to draw the whiskers and dot lightly just under the nose.

Finishing touch would be a small bow, I have used gingham

Have a go and I hope you like them.
