Hi everyone, I thought it was about time I got me gorgeous LOTV stamps out and have a play. Having looked on the LOTV website, it gave me the inspiration I needed to create! Hope you like them too?
Above I have used backing paper from a CD in lilac. Magnolia dies for the flowers and dragonfly. The leaves are a spellbinder die, and the border came from a Tonic border edge punch.
The lovely sentiment is another useful LOTV stamp. You can use this to add a special date and month by hand, great idea!
Above is one of the gorgeous mermaid stamps that LOTV do, this is my favourite. This would make a great twins card! I enjoyed playing with this one, lots of die cutting done, but I especially liked using my beautiful mica powders on the background. I edged the base card with double sided tape and then added a mixture of mica powders from cosmic shimmer, so it all matched and has a lovely "mermaid" shimmer to it! Of course glitter was used on their tails.
Below is my only male card. Racing driver and car. I used a spellbinder to mount the image and an embossing folder to give it a tyre tread look. The sentiment is from Inkylicious. A nice aged look to this one I think!
I adore this image! It's one of two geisha girl images that LOTV do, I have ordered the other now that I have seen the results. The sentiment is from Crafters Companion, Paintbox poppets, which is really useful, as you can change the sentiment and who you are sending it to. The blossom is from Hobby Art, oriental stamp set. Really liked how this one turned out.
