Demonstration Samples 19th July 2014 - Trago Mills Liskeard Cornwall

Snowflake Wreath
This was made from the fabulous Xcut Snowflake dies
just released.  I started by using the
Artiste Acrylic metallic paints around the edge of
the card using a small amount of paint on a piece of
cut and dry foam.  I used various cards and papers
to cut the full selection of 14 dies from the set,
all different sizes.  I then stamped the sentiment
and silver heat embossed within the centre of the card.
To finish the card by adding a organza white bow,
double tied using the Papermania bow tie tool.

I think it turned out rather lovely!

Ho Ho Ho
The Ho Ho Ho card is very simple but effective.
Papermania have produced a fantastic set of
wooden embellishment in a box (10), all the
right size for your cards.  This one is inked with
a gold and silver pigment ink, with a tiny gem
added to the centre.  I then stamped the
background with the matching stamp and gold
heat embossed it.  So easy, but so nice!

Cute Stocking

I love this one! I am really loving using
Kraft card, it goes with everything!   It was
fun  to make and I adore the different
layers and materials used to make the card.
I used one of the new Papermania canvas
stockings and  added a bakers twine edge
by sewing it onto the front.  I then used my
favourite set of Xcut dies, the leaves,
to cut the holly mistletoe leaves in green.
I cut both the candy canes and the beautiful
bow from  last years 2 Christmas dies set,
which also included  the pine cones just poking
out of  the bow.  To finish off the embellishment,
I added the gorgeous tag with Merry Christmas
sentiment.   I used a simple stamp in the
corners with matching  red in to finish the background on the kraft card.

 Hope you like it?

Star Struck

This is another fabulous wooden embellishment from Papermania.  This time I have left it natural, with no colour.  I thought that the colour could be added by the wonderful red beads from the "Create Christmas" range. I backed the star with red card and then added PVA glue to stick the beads to.  A large red organza bow finished the embellishment.  I then stamped the sentiment in red die in, and the background was stamped with a matching star, with red glitter added to add a bit of sparkle.

Blue Christmas

This is another simple card but with big
impact.  Using the large sentiment stamp
 from  Papermania  "Create Christmas",
I gold heat embossed this onto the
Letter to Santa papers, also from
Papermania. The background paper
is matted onto gold mirri card to
follow the them.  I finished it off
with  a large blue organza bow and
 a couple of  jingle bells!

Wild Rose Pizza Box
I thought I would change the Christmas theme and finish with a nice little Pizza box.  This is very simple to make.  Using a 11" x 6" kraft card, score the long side at 1", 5", 6" and 10", turn and score at 1" and 5".  Make cuts on both sides of the centre score lines as well as each side to the 1" score lines at both ends.  Add your chosen strong adhesive.  I decorated the box with distressed papers from the new Wild Rose Capsule collection from Papermania.  To embellish I added the lovely self adhesive crochet ribbon and both the matching "big bloomers" and pin wheels.  I cut two leaves from my favourite leaf dies and my new favourite word dies, "with love".  This is a simple
box that would hold a set of 4" x 4" cards, and make a super little gift.
