Decorative Corner Card - Papermania Capsule Geometric - Neon Papers

Stamps are from Do Crafts Papermania

Hi there, it's been so long since I posted a make.  2015 was not the best of years for me, I was very ill during the summer, and crafting really took a back seat whilst I recovered.  I am glad to say that I am well and truly better and finding my craft mojo again.

I hope you like this make?  It's so simple in it's design but can be adopted to any occasion.  I have used the new Capsule Geometric Neon papers from Papermania, the papers are really lovely! I found this make on YouTube, under "Splitcoast Stampers", fabulous design and super quick to make.

The measurements are as follows 5  1/2" x 9 1/2" card stock scored at 2 1/8", 4 1/4", 6 3/8", 8 1/2" and 9".  Make sure all the folds are mountain folds (towards you). Place your mats on the front of the card before joining the 1/2" tab at the back.  Try to use a plainer DSP if you intend to stamp a sentiment or write a message on the back.  This one is really useful, because the pattern fades to the bottom of the paper.  Cut a topper with a die shape or just add a topper of your choice.  Adding this to the centre corner couldn't be easier!  Punch two 1" circles and score them in half.  Position them both on either side of the centre fold.  Best to adhere them to the card with wet glue, as this allows you some "wiggle" time.  Once dry, you can then add the topper to the two semi circles, this will give your card great dimension when on display. (See above).
Hope you like it, I certainly do?

PS, I will endeavour to post weekly now that the new year has started!  "Start as you mean to go on!", so the saying goes!!
