Demonstration Cards - March 2016

Quite a few pictures here, just a selection of my recent Demonstration makes.  My next demonstration is at The Range in Peverell, Plymouth, Saturday 12th March.  Come and join me if you a sometime to spare?

I couldn't wait to get my hands on the new Country Life papers from Papermania.  A lovely range of rustic, heart warming, home sweet home papers that you will love creating with.  I saw the honey papers and thought of home made honey or jams and decided to grab a jar and make a box.  I made the box with kraft cardstock and then decorated the box with the papers and bee themed die cuts.  The lovely wooden signs are perfect for hanging messages around your home made makes.  Enjoy!

I picked up this cute little rustic Jar from Trago Mills and thought it would go perfect with the lovely Country Life papers from Papermania.

Two sweet little treats for Easter.  Both made from a 6" x 6" piece of card and a score board.
A simple centre stepper card using a blue card base and the gorgeous Country Life papers from Papermania.  Those lovely adhesive tiles really bring it to life.

This shaker card is made using the gorgeous mini dies that have just been released this month from Xcut.  I used the die to cut the aperture form the card, placed acetate behind and then glued the die cut back into the aperture. Using foam tape I mounted the card and placed red heart confetti behind, before sealing the topper.  I added a few more hearts to the front of the card to finish off the look!
I like the simplicity of this card.  I have used February's cover gift stamp from the Creativity Magazine "Hello".  I stamped and heat embossed it with gold glitter powder and them cut it out, leaving a small white border. To give it some dimension, I mounted it with foam pads.  I have used the craft tape to create a ribbon border and added some self adhesive gold gems to finish it off.
Mother's Day Apron card.  Slightly different version to the one below.
This is a little wall hanging that would look sweet in any country kitchen.  I used nesting dies to cut the card and paper.  Using foam pads I raised the layers and added a cute strawberry wooden embellishment and a "Home Sweet Home" topper from the Ultimate die cut and paper pack.  I punch a heart from some scrap paper and added some twine to hang to the back to hang it with.  So, so cute!
This would make a lovely little gift.  The miniature bag was made from the Capsule Geometric Mocha Ultimate die cut paper pack, easy to put together with some added ribbon and embellishments.  The mini card was cut to size to fit inside the bag.  I stamped the "handmade with love" from the March Creativity Magazine cover gift, then I heat embossed this with copper powder. I then added the Cousins Jewellery basics earings to the card with foam pads.  Very sweet!
This make was inspired from the March Creativity Magazine.  The background is made using the fabulous Artieste Spritzing inks.  Here I used Forest Green and Gold.  A stripe of chevron paper was used from the new Capsule Geometric Mocha 12" x 12" papers from Papermania.  I die cut a couple of butterflies and heat embossed them multiple times with gold and silver embossing powders.  Finally, whilst still hot, I added some crystal glitter to the butterflies.  The sentiment is from the fabulous inspirational quotes stamp set, I love the font and the flowing tails.

A cute little apron card made from 2 pieces of card stock hinged together at the top.  The papers are from Papermania, Country Life collection.  I punched 3 large daisy flowers and a heart to embellish the front pocket.  The frill around the pocket was punched with a border punch and folded before being added to the pocket.
Recipe for a Mother..... I printed this on my computer with a tear in my eye, as it made me think of my own Mother, who I miss so very much.
